Provence Wine Map

Provence rivals the Languedoc and Roussillon as the oldest wine region in France! Wine has been produced in Provence since the arrival of the ancient Greeks over 2,500 years ago. A sun-drenched region positioned between the Alps and the French Mediterranean coast, Provence is home to the world-famous French Riviera and iconic rosé wine style.

The map includes the principal black and white grape varieties of the region and the authorized wine type for every AOC.

All base map information is originally digitized from satellite imagery. Map includes digital shaded relief. All wine-related content is derived from official national sources and regional wine associations.
